When baby #1 arrived, he completely turned my world upside down.
As expected, he came first in everything – governing when I ate, slept, showered, even ruling on whether I could ever sit down (which quite frankly, was never!).
My life changed to become his life. My world stopped to begin his world.
So when baby #2 arrived, I expected the same monumental shift to occur again. Babies are demanding little things, why would this one be any different?
What did happen in our family dynamic, however, was … absolutely nothing.
My world still revolved predominantly around child #1. And the life of baby #2 simply had to fit in with that.
She’s not fussed at having to hang around in bed most mornings whilst I chase Mr4 around the house – attempting to get his undies off of his head and onto his bum.
